Remember the Taylor’s World Class Scholarships (TWCS) we talked about a month back? Well, it was recently announced that there were 12 recepients for the scholarships. 6 were for degree courses at Taylor’s Business School, while the other 6 were for diploma and higher diploma programmes at Taylor’s School of Hospitality and Tourism.

These 12 scholars were picked from a field of 1,200 applicants - about a 1% success rate if you applied this year (this statistic actually means nothing given the wide array of applicant backgrounds).

Anyway, it seems that most of the Hospitality and Tourism scholars were partnered with Shangri-La (4 of 6), while most of the Business School schlars were partnered with DHL (5 of 6). These partnerships were for internship programmes (for all 12) as well as an 18-month management trainee programme for the Business School students upon graduation.
