The Center for American Education in Singapore recently agreed to extend its affiliation with Broward Community College (BCC) through 2011. The BCC-Singapore programme began in 1986, and is one of only two of BCC’s international affiliate programmes that offer overseas students, such as those in Singapore, a full American degree.

Both parties have also agreed to expand the programme, with a scholarship on the verge of launching. The John Green Scholarship, or so it’s called, will “…send four or five BCC students to its affiliate center in Spain for the fall semester.”
