Great Eastern Supremacy Local Scholarship Award

The overseas version of this scholarship was featured only one post back, but that isn’t going to stop us from outlining the local version of Great Eastern’s scholarship awards.

There are a number of key differences between the local and overseas scholarships. For one, unlike its overseas variant, the Great Eastern Supremacy Local Scholarship Award covers a wider range of courses, including Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science and Information Technology. Secondly, the attached bond is only 3 years - which is about the norm for local scholarships in Malaysia and Singapore.

The scholarship is valued at a maximum of RM6,000 per annum for public university (IPTA) tuition fees or RM9,000 per year for private institutions (IPTS) tuition fees. Regardless of the type of institution you choose, the scholarship pays out an allowance of RM3,600 per annum for living expenses.
