British University in Dubai (BUiD) Scholarships

British University in Dubai (BUiD) – one of the top research-based institutions in the Middle East – is offering an expanded range of scholarships for students beginning Masters programmes beginning September 2006. The scholarships cover a wide range of potential applicants, and is aimed at extending access to higher education and encouraging diversity in BUiD’s student population.

The primary scholarship being offered is the general BUiD Scholarship Scheme, which covers 50% of tuition fees at the university. There is also a similar scheme being offered by DUGAS, which is also valued at 50% of tuition fees. All applicants holding confirmed offers are eligible to apply to both scholarship schemes.

Additionally, there are several special scholarships targeted at graduates from particular universities in the region. There is one scholarship for 75% of tuition fees for a student or recent graduate from the Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE, and similar scholarships for graduates from Zayed University and UAE University. Furthermore, there are three scholarships for 50% of tuition fees aimed at students resident in India, and another three for students resident in Pakistan.

The deadline for applications to all these scholarships is the 31st of May, 2006. For more information, visit BUiD’s website.

Hello Sir,
it appears many wants to join to your university,it is actually a pleasre and a chance that happens once in your life,i actually as all those who really wants the scholarship,i came to dubai for work and the chances were not as i expected,education now is really important to get higher in everything and since education is highly expensive im looking for a scholarship in this university,i would like more information and how can i admit,if any exams needed.
im in the origin from Palestine (west bank) i once had the IELTS exam and passed it 6.5 but unfortuently i never had any chance to get a scholarship,i graduated from science college and would really like to have MBA .
please advise.
