2006-2007 Kyoto Scholarships
Published May 21st, 2006 in News, ScholarshipsAt the Kyoto Symposium Organization’s most recent benefit gala, three American and three Mexican students were presented with the 2006-2007 Kyoto Scholarships. The scholarships were awarded based on the annual Kyoto Prize categories, i.e. Advanced Technology, Basic Sciences, as well as Arts and Philosophy.
Each scholarship is valued at US$10,000, and was awarded based on an essay written on a Kyoto Prize laureate, as well as academic achievement, community service and letters of recommendation.
Ah… it’s a pity these kind of interesting and bond-free scholarships don’t apply to Asians though.
